Penis enlargement - jelqing Part 4

Does
masturbating a certain way for 20-30 minutes a day increase the size of
the penis? According to Wikepedia, Jelq is the Persian word for
Masturbate and the websites that promote this "natural excerise" for
penis enlargement say it has been used for centuries. Well the first thing is to understand what these exercises do to the
penis itself. So before getting into the supposed techniques, all
the sites that proclaim this technique provide how it works with
medical diagrams.
Increasing Penis Size the Natural Way - Jelquing Techniques (Milking)
We
know the main parts of the penis are described in one form or another
on these websites as well and thoroughly in Part 1 of this
article. Supposedly, these penis enlargement exercises (Jelq or
Jelqing) claim that they are designed to break down the cell walls of
the Corporal Cavernosa by forcing blood into them and every time this
is done, you will be stretching the cells to a larger configuration
than normal. Additionally, they also claim that when these cells
grow back in your penis they will be larger and stronger each time,
thus holding more blood , and therefore making your penis larger over a
few weeks of exercising. Looking at the medical diagram and the
complete medical explanation by bonefide doctors, if I were male, I
would be concerned and skeptical.
A
brief overview of the jelqing natural penis enlargement technique is a
daily regiment of exercise sessions from 20-30 minutes with a semi
erect penis You apparently start off with warm-up exercises, in
some cases first warming up your membrane with a wet washcloth before
beginning. Some sites suggest applying lubricant, while others do
not. You hold your penis is a specific handgrip around the base
and fully encompassing it within you hand, which ensures no blood
escapes from the penis (Wouldn't a cock ring do as well?)
Then you perform 100-200 Jelquing movements for an average workout.
I
found that the sites want you to pay a membership fee between $40-50
for all the technique information or if they provide free exercise
information they are selling other products for penis enlargement
including pumps, pills and stretching devices. What they don't
sell is the simple inexpensive prosthetic penis appendature or sleeve.
ll
of them provide additional information on how the "natural exercises"
stack up" against the other options, with of course a marketing spin
that states this is the best way and there are varying degrees of how
much length or girth you will achieve.
The
point of view of sex therapists and several medical doctors clearly
shows there isn't any clinical evidence that provides proof that this
method works. I found only one, study performed was in the 1970s by Dr.
Brian Richards in the UK and published in the British Journal of Sexual
Medicine. It suggested that there as an 87 percent increase in
the test subjects and penis length increased up to 1.4 inches and girth
up to 1 inch. However, this was not a "blind study" and the
number of participants was few.
The
real scoop on what is going on in the penis verses what is stated when
performing these exercises was concisely described by Tom, Lue, MD,
professor of urology at the University of California, San Francisco in
an article done by Kaytie_WebMD-Staff in 2005. Dr. Lue states, "
I think that's all bogus.... Only swelling, caused by bleeding
under the skin, could explain the increases in penis size that men
experience. This result would not be permanent, hence the need to
follow a rigorous jelquing regimen indefinitely. The idea that
the smooth muscle of the penis can be exercised, like the bicep, is a
myth....."
What
I am finding in relationship to medical evidence is that Jelquing can
be inherently dangerous to the blood vessels of the penis. It can
cause injuries from irritated skin, bursted blood vessels, scarring and
potential impare penile function, including partial loss of erectile
function as well as the ability to maintain an erection. With
this kind of information, is it worth trying or risking the pain to
your personal appendage without consulting your urologist pr andologist
first? From a female's perspective, I wouldn't want my partner
potentially damaging the only appendage he's got. There has to be
other options that may solve the problem? You decide for
yourself, but again this isn't a permanent solution and I believe could
cause injury. Besides, if masturbating could increase the size of
the penis, wouldn't every man's penis be larger after several years of
practice?
