What
is your flavor of swing club? We get asked allot is there a good
swing club in our area and what is it like? When I ask
about choices, I usually use the analogy of ice cream. Why ice
cream because it comes in so many flavors and everyone has a different
taste they prefer. Okay, there isn't a swing club that is
Vanilla, that just does not exist. If you are looking
for Vanilla, swinging isn't a right place for you. However, we
have found many clubs that do work well with the ice cream genre.
Many on premise clubs should be considered at
Neopolitan. Why? They offer variety. Clubs we
would consider that fit in this flavor in the San Francisco
Bay Area include: Power Exchange and The Arena. In Los Angeles,
LA Couples also fits this flavor.
Other clubs such as Barry and Shells, Oakland,
and The Ace of Hearts, Portland, are like Mint Chip (popular,
stable, reliable and enjoyable). Smaller on-premise clubs, such
as Blondies, Hayward, CA are more like the flavor a
rasberry sorbet (unique, specialized tastes).
Chocolate Swingers, Los Angeles is a variation of PHISH
Food (an interesting fun mix of enjoyment), while the 13th
Floor, Dallas, is Pralines n Cream (inviting, comfortable and fun, with
a touch of sophistication). Collette's in New Orleans would be consided
as New York Strawberry Cheesecake (rich, inviting and delicious).
These
are just a few to give you the general idea. So when you think about
visiting a Swingers Club, think about the ice cream flavor(s) you like
to determine an easy way of describing the club's ambience!
