FANTASY

Fantasy

Fantasy - (Sexautism; gendoloma- fantasizing during sex to hasten orgasm, Hemerotism - fantasizing about sex or nudity, Oneiropornism-fantasizing about sex or prostitutes).

Sexual fantasies are illusions or daydreams people have about specific experiences.  sexual fantasies may receive their potency due to guilt or fear.  Many fantasies begin in childhood and remain as primary sources of pleasure for some throughout life, others change fantasies with regularity.  There may be some connection between whether a person finds pleasure engaging in sexual experimentation and their ability to utilize new fantasies.

Men and women commonly fantasize about being overpowered by a sex partner,.  This entails female seduction of men in their fantasies, and the use of physical force in female fantasies.

Certain fantasies tend toward visualizing situations  they would not want to experience in real life.  These fantasies are specifically designed to increase adrenaline or excitement level to the point of being able to have sex without a partner.  Some of these fantasies can range from artistic to violent, as in the case of some fantasy magazines.  Sadistic fantasies may server the purpose of relieving stress or aggression more than sexual tension.

People who feel guilty because they consider their fantasies to be extremely violent will probably find that they are docile compared some of the fantasies in magazines.

Other types of fantasies could be sex outside, such as acts of exhibitionism, or group sex, or being voyeurs.  Many fantasies are shared with a partner to enhance the sexual experience and when discussed during an arousal period, fantasies can be modified to fit the needs of each individual partner, perhaps toned down.  You might have a fantasy to have an additional partner, male or female, but do not feel ready to act on it even though it heightens your sexual experience with your partner. That's the beauty of fantasy, some should stay in the mind rather than acting upon them as the real situation may not be as good as the fantasy itself.
